I failed my first attempt at this exam and passed today. This course helped me a ton in knowing the best applications of the theories in regards to specific diagnoses. I know Dr. Alyson Carr's video courses played a large role in my success today.

Dr. Carr provides the highlights of each therapeutic approach in a clear, concise manner. Additionally, providing examples of when you would apply these various techniques. I would highly recommend this course and "Defining Lines" to anyone studying for their licensure examination.

Before going through this video series, I really struggled with trying to figure out which were the most appropriate treatment theories/approaches for various disorders. But, this video series really breaks it down and is helpful for matching treatment with diagnosis. I am feeling more confident after reviewing these videos, and I'm looking forward to doing well on my upcoming counselor license exam.

Dr. Carr once again did a great job with this course! She explained all the theories very well and broke it down so it was easy to understand. I especially enjoyed learning about the specific techniques, what they are used for, and what therapy or therapies they best applies to.
